Where we live affects our thoughts, feelings and behaviours, while the tasks of modern life affect our mental fatigue. Getting out of our homes, looking out the window to escape from electric lights that negatively interfere with relaxation, our well-being and our openness to others. Natural light has a positive effect on the symptoms of depression, but it is rare in our urban habitats.
